Ky Anh to Dong Hoi to Don Ha - 2 days and 125 Miles

Yep! I stick out in this country of beautiful people

Well, things are starting to warm up!  Hanoi through yesterday it has been chilly in the mornings and evenings, so it is nice to get a little further south and along the coast.  Today is in the mid seventies and looks to stay in that range and then warmer as we get below DaNang.  We are definitely feeling the accumulation of 60+ Miles a day and a two night stay in Hue is going to feel great.
Phil and I split off from the other guys the last two days so it will be good to see them and swap tales tonight.
We are really into rice country now and we left the more mountainous region behind, at least temporarily.  We had an interesting ride today for about 20 Miles, just inland from the cost going through a stretch of white sand dunes as far as you could see.  Usually there’s lots of human activity everywhere, but this was completely desolate.
The people have been fantastic and so friendly and if “hello” is the only word they know they want you to know it.  Young and old, they are happy to see us and exchange pleasantries.

Day six is under our belts, and feeling pretty good!
